To get to this cache location take Highway 14 up the Poudre Canyon to the parking lot of Greyrock trailhead, once there you will want to start your journey to this fine cache placement by crossing the river and walking a short distance to a junction point, in which you will want to take "Greyrock Summit trail" to the cache location. I encourage you to also check out the other fine traditionals, earthcaches, multi's and the recently published wherigo atop Mount Grey rock, but you will have to start down "Greyrock Meadow Trail" in order to claim the Wherigo which you will be doing an 8+ mile hike so plan and judge yourself accordingly based on your fitness level! This cache was placed on National EarthCache day with 13 other fine cachers from the area and we all had a great day.

The cache is a small pickle jar wrapped in camo tape with an inner rx vial that needs to be inverted to easly be reinserted to keep it nice and dry and is held  in place with a small rock to keep it from migrating.

We looked high and low for this one but were not successful. There seem to be lots of possibilities. I'm sure will give it another shot on our next hike up Greyrock. Thanks for placing this.

Found during a vacation to the FoCo area - in addition to geocaching, Boyfriend and I hiked Greyrock Mountain! Hiking at elevation was tough, and I had a scare on our way back down, as I almost stepped on a rattlesnake! Good thing there was a bit of an adrenaline rush, and luckily the snake was pointed the other way... allowed me to be able to scurry down the trail. After making our way back down the mountain, I bought myself a beer. Here’s to being able to cache another day! TFTC!

Spent the day hiking up here Pixel Magic and Barasaur to grab a few earth and regular caches. Realy enjoyed the day up here. We covered close to 10 miles and about 8 hours on our trip up here just taking in all the scenery. Thanks for the hide!

Went for a hike with Pixel Magic and Waawhoo around Gray Rock. Had a great day hiking with slightly cloudy skies and around 50 degrees. We covered around 10 miles in our cache hunting with over 3000 feet elevation gain throughout our hike. Thanks for the fun day walking around in the mountains.
