The Roan Cliffs are the gateway to one of the most incredible plateaus in the world; The Roan Plateau. This plateau is home to a diverse population of wildlife, some of which are found only here. Click on the 'user's web page' for more information and maps on the Roan.

The cache is located at the top of the JQS Trail, in a small container behind the information sign. Stealth will be needed if there is anyone around at the time.

The JQS Trail is not passable in the winter but the area can be accessed via Cow Creek Rd.
