If you look to the northeast from the cache site you can see the Federal Correctional Complex near Florence. The complex consists of four separate facilities:
        - Federal Prison Camp, a minimum-security facility.
        - Federal Correctional Institution, a medium-security facility.
        - United States Penitentiary, High: a high-security facility.
        - United States Penitentiary, Administrative Maximum: the highest security prison in the country.

The highest security prison holds the most dangerous offenders in the federal prison system, many whose names you would probably recognize. Locally this facility is known as Alcatraz of the Rockies, Big House on the Prairie or just ADX (short for Administrative Maximum).

Cache should be a quick park & grab and is a regular sized container with room for swag and trackables. The area will be muddy if it's been raining or snowing. Use the pullout, but don't block the driveway. Beyond the fence is private property. Don't go there. There is a homemade prize for the FTF.

I was returning from grabbing an FTF on Junkins Fire and stopped to check on this cache. All is well here. I discovered the trackables. Cache on!

It is always good to find a regular-size cache with trackables in it.

I picked up Geocaching Keychain, CITO Micro Geocoin #3, and Green Lil Johnny Does GeoWoodstock 2018 in anticipation of a trip to New Mexico soon.

I was on my way to hike Lewis Creek Trail today and stopped to say hello to this cache. It took a minute to spot it because it was a few feet from where I hid it. I retrieved three of the trackables and discovered the rest. One of the trackables I retrieved was not logged into the cache. I'll wait to see if it gets logged in before I grab it. If not I will dip it for proper mileage.

I haven't been caching in a while but had to uphold my traditional Thanksgiving find. Thanks for this easy find. Now to try and find out something about the ruins on the other side of the road. Took nothing, signed the log and discovered the bug.
