9:21:00 AM Went for a nice stroll with my new dog Prince Hairy, and Garlic. I've been meaning to get here for a while - but every time we try to turn onto Highway 6, it's been a weekday. And the road has been closed on the weekdays for rock mitigation. We had to drive to Clear Creek County cache, because it wasn't on the trail, so we got that one after we were done with our walk. Thanks!

Today I came up to the western part of town (the mountains west of me) to grab an FTF. While there, I couldn't resist continuing caching. I ended up northwest of Central City in the cold (32 degrees) with some snow still on the ground from a minor storm several days ago.
The intended FTF was nearby, but I didn't realize this one was here until my trip back toward Denver. With service in Central City, I realized I wasn't far from this one either. So after grabbing several others, I headed back to Clear Creek to grab this one. [FTF] at 12:03 am. My hands are frozen - not because of this cache or the search for it. Just too long caching in the cold today. This cache is well placed and stuffed with swag. Amazing that it hasn't already been found. Easy access and interesting place! TFTC!
