As we were placing caches along St. Vrain Road, we drove on this road for the first time. There were no caches along this road, so we decided to place one. You will likely be greeted by some farm animals, such as horse(s), donkeys, and llamas. You can park in the pulloff right by the cache.

While we were placing this cache, we found a very old film canister in the tree. we opened it up, and there was a paper log with names on it, as old as 2011. This cache is archived now, since it is no longer on the map. We removed the container. If you know what cache this used to be, please let me know. I am very nterested in what cache this used to be.

Please let me know if this cache needs any maintaining, such as the log needing replacing, if the cache container is in bad condition, or if you can't find this cache. If you cannot find this cache, DO NOT leave a replacement. I prefer to maintain my caches myself. Hope you find it, and happy caching!

Found it! Glad to see this cache spot has been revived. There was a cache there before the 2014 flood but I assumed it had been washed away.

Everything is in good shape here. Love how the tree grew with the wire around it. Thanks for the cache!

We found it, but it looked like it may have fallen out of the tree? We’ll send you a PM explaining where we put it.

Nice drive between the two roads. We are from California. We just spent a week in Estes Park. We saw these wonderful caches and thought we would detour a little. Thanks to the CO for giving us 27 finds in two hours. SL
