One of the things I've always loved about Colorado in the 15 years I've lived here is all the parks and open space. Many of the parks have been in place for quite some time. But every once in a while there's a new park. This park is very, very new. In fact, I'd even say it has that "new park smell!" Or maybe it's just the plastic lounge chairs. Anyway, what better way to celebrate a new park than with a new cache!
This will be a very simple puzzle and one that will help you enjoy one of the very unique features this park has to offer.
At the center of the park, there are three sections of "floating steps." I really don't know how else to describe them. The posted coords are a very good place to start. Just keep going past the park marker towards the pergola area. I know it's not technically a pergola, but you'll get the idea when you're there. Anyway, the floating steps are above the pond there and are a really cool feature of this park. All you have to do is count the steps to get the final coords!
If the total number of steps is:
44 - the cache is at N 39 36.152 W 104 53.034
45 - the cache is at N 39 36.167 W 104 53.043
46 - the cache is at N 39 36.175 W 104 53.028
47 - the cache is at N 39 36.177 W 104 53.050
You'll have to use some geosenses to find the final. Please be careful while calculating the puzzle and enjoy the park!
Congrats to T5M and PoshCacher for floating their way to a FTF without getting wet in the dark!
