This is a letterbox hybrid cache that is NOT at the posted coordinates, but you will want to start there.  This cache is dedicated to team estrek and the father of theirs that has brought upon many caches in the area.

Congrats estrek on your FTF!

This cache is a letterbox hybrid cache, so it will involve some puzzles and clues to help you find the final.  Pay attention closely because you will not be given the final coordinates at any point and will have to find the final based only upon the clues I will give you.  This is my 2nd attempt at a letterbox hybrid so I hope you enjoy it!

This cache is dedicated to team estrek.  They have helped me so much along the way, have been the nicest friends and I have enjoyed attending events and faires with them!  They are dedicated to their community, both geocaching and other hobbies and deserve due credit!  I placed this cache while searching for a new cache in the area placed by them for their father who just had his 96th birthday!  He still rides bicycles with them and it is something I could only dream about doing if I even make it to that age!  I hope you enjoy this cache as much as I enjoyed placing it, and as much as I enjoy searching for each and every one of estrek's caches.

To begin this cache, you will want to start near the picnic table at the park, at the given coordinates.  This is a great place to bring kids, and the cache will be a fun little adventure for them!  I found this park as I was driving by for the new cache by estrek and knew it would be the perfect place to start this letterbox puzzle!

Clue 1: Look West, and walk under both of the upside down white 'U's.

Clue 2: You will see 5 green spots that do not belong.  Stand upon the northernmost one and walk in a straight line towards the northern fence.  You will know you are in the right place if you are 2 posts right of the log attached to the barbed wire in the background.

Clue 3: You will want to look up this cache: GC5FCK8 which is the new cache I went for while placing this one.  You will not need to look at it if you know the name of the "father" which I have mentioned.  There is a series of caches dedicated to this father, you will need to know his name.  Take the number of letters in his name, multiply it by 5, and walk that many posts to the west.

Clue 4:Once you have found the post from clue 3, take out your phone/compass/gpsr and find the direction of 300degrees from this spot.  You will see something that will glow softly in the dark, go there.

Clue 5: From this point follow the rocky road north until you see plants, follow these plants west until the end.  (no need to go through anyone's yard)

Clue 6: After the row of plants end, you will see a wall made of wood close by, start at the southernmost part of it.

Clue 7: Take the number of letters in the name of the team that this cache is a tribute for, double it, and go northern that number of vertical parts of the wall.

Clue 8: Here you should find your treasure in a camouflaged container.

Make sure you keep the container concealed from view and DO NOT TAKE THE STAMP the stamp is there for people who collect stamps due to the letterbox portion of this cache.  If you are interested you may bring a piece of paper, notebook, or anything and use the stamp.  The stamp itself is a ghost, and there is no way to tell how long the ink will last so feel free to bring your own inkpad if you're interested in collecting the stamp.  The container will be big enough for small SWAG and small trackable items, and I have left a cute little scottie for the FTF or the first person who wishes to move it along.

Let me know if you have any troubles, this is meant to be a fun "trek" through the park and surrounding area to find a cache using clues and riddles.  It is not meant to be hard, but will require a decent enough amount of walking so be prepared, and be careful if the weather is bad.

Since this is only my 2nd attempt at a letterbox and my first try using riddles and clues, keep an eye out for more letterbox hybrid type caches coming soon to the area.  Some will be challenging and some will be easy like this one.  Good Luck!

It was a pleasantly cool morning and I am finally starting to feel better after a week of being sick so I set out to do a short walk and keep my geocache streak going for another day. Parking by this cache was surprisingly difficult but I guess that is part of the HOA format since it seems like a private park. I figured walking on the grass would be okay though so started working my way through the clues. I was a bit uncertain about the "post" clue but I don't think the number was terribly specific fortunately as the remaining clues were sufficiently clear to get me back on track.

Doing the final vertical count, I was pleased to find the replacement cache in excellent shape and well hidden. Thank you for the maintenance from previous cachers and the initial puzzle design, MooseTag!

This was a fun and easy to follow letterboxing sequence. I love LBH caches, I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to knock this one off my list. Enjoyed the walk on a gorgeous winter day. Found the container placed by Denali41 recently and added my ink to the log. TFTC

I proceeded through the neat letterbox sequence to the final location. Sue, one of the Estrek team members, joined me so she could evaluate the sequence's integrity and check on the final container. The container was again missing. Earlier in the morning we had learned from Barasaur, the last finder, that he, also, found that the cache was missing and he replaced it. I did the same, per the general instructions by the cache owner regarding missing containers at any of his cache locations. For several years he has not maintained them but asks cache finders to make replacements. I signed the new log paper.

The final location is in a highly visible, high foot and bike traffic location that is also in a grass-cutting zone by city workers who maintain the landscaped grass along the bike trail. It's unlikely that the replaced container will remain in place once mowing and grass trimming season arrives in the spring. The CO should either move the location of the final, or archive this cache.

Found while out caching with Team Tiger Pride on this beautiful Memorial Day morning. Based on previous logs, we went ahead and dropped a new container, log, and stamp, but didn't have an inkpad with us. Nice location, and a fun little hunt to get to the final. Hope it hangs around for many more cachers to find!

Hopefully we did right by replacing the container, as we found nothing at ground zero for the length of the fence. There is a stamp inside, you will need your own ink for the stamp. Thanks for the cache

Thank you Denali41 for giving us a heads up that this cache needs maintenance.
Given that MooseTag is not able, we'll take care of getting this cache up again. Well... it is a tribute to dad & estrek
