This cache is sponsored by AMT class 0903. Hidden on a very cold and ugly afternoon by 3 dedicated (crazy) classmates. Stashed on a peak with a great view the ammo can is hidden, but should be an easy find. Since the mountain was covered in snow we took the direct route straight up the mountain! If we made it up today, you can make it up there anyday. Good luck!

Took a detour to go after this cache while hiking up the steep trail to the summit of Eagle Peak. The view was impressive from GZ. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the cache.

Didn’t take long to find. Traded for some magnets, TFTC!

Found this one while on my hike up to Eagle Peak. I sort of circumvented the mountain away from the trail and then continued up to Eagle Peak from GZ. Beautiful views but I"d say the terrain rating is a bit low since its quite exposed! Thanks for the hide, it was a lot of fun!!!

ugh, my phone tried to kill me on this cache and took me down the east slope before lazily listening to another sat and then decided the cache is in the more obvious location. Somewhere along the gully, I lost my sunglasses... but didnt realize that until I scrambled down to the aspen meadow. I bet this cache is more fun in the snow.

The cache is in great shape. Took warcraft thingy, left Airforce water bottle.

I was wondering why this cache hadn't been logged in two years. Now I know! BigSmile

Grabbed this one and n the way down, after using the main trail. I took the 350' detour while Mrs Av8r stayed safely parked under a tree on the trail.

Cache is still in great shape. As is my former residence (USAFA class of '91). Thanks for the fun side trip! TNLNSL.

Found it with some Boy Scouts on our way up the mountain. I would agree that the terrain rating is a tad low, at least for flatlanders. Great view from the cache.

I was in town visiting some friends from the Springs, and we hiked Eagle Peak today. We approached this one from the South as a deviation from the last stretch of the trail, and that worked quite well. We continued on up to the peak from there. No troubles finding the cache once we reached GZ. TFTC!
