Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  No Difficult climbing  Cliff / falling rocks 
From the parking spot at the trail head (Star View trail), the trail is really a road that is rarely open. The hike is about 1/2 mile round trip but there are moderate elevation gains even with all the switchbacks. Hike near the observatory and begin your search. You will be looking for an ammo can that contains a log book, pen and pencil, a pencil sharpener, and a variety of trading items. Enjoy.
