Do not park on Oberon Rd, you need to park on 67th or Independence Street.
Independence Park was purchased by the City of Arvada in 1975. In 1977 it was voted to be named Independence Park. This name was suggested by a neighbor who still lives on Independence Street.
Since the park got paved trails a number of years ago, it gets more visitors, mainly human and canine. Three loops in the park equal one mile (if you you don’t take the shortcut ). You often can see and hear trains coming by, including the California Zephyr.
Congrats to geysers123 for getting the FTF 10/26 11:28 AM!
