I won't even call this one a DNF as I didn't make a search; I parked a little ways away and walked to where my GPSr indicated I should go, but as I approached the very likely looking beacon I spotted at least half a dozen wasps on its perimeter. decided then and there than discretion was the better part of valor, so I turned around, walked back, and drove away. The CO needs to check on this one ASAP; TFTC anyway!
