Each of the Emperors of Ancient Greece had their coliseum for their enjoyment. Believing in equal opportunity Kilroy wanted his coliseum. Having moved from Greece to Westminster, Colorado, his is located in a shopping center with ample parking.
The actual cache is not located in Kilroy's Coliseum nor within 5 feet of the exterior walls. No need to move anything in the area of the coliseum. While at the coliseum, feel free to take photos of yourself, selfies are fine. Post them online in your log if you please. Photos are not required for logging, but Kilroy wants to see your pretty face. He likes to see who is visiting his coliseum while he is on vacation in Greece. Enjoy the hunt.

Greetings dustyriver,

I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers.

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache in the next couple of weeks, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and cachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If the reason the cache is under the weather is something out of your control, such as construction or flooding, please post a note on the cache page with your best guess of when the conditions will improve. If the situation is temporary and is something out of your control, there is no need to archive the cache at this time. Please however, add a note to the cache page detailing the situation to allow others to understand the situation - and - to prevent this from being archived for inactivity.

Additionally, please note that if no action is taken in 30 days, I will be forced to archive this cache. Don't let your cache get archived for non-communication.

COVID-19: If you need extra time due to travel restrictions or safety, please post a note on the cache page. Communication is needed to keep this cache active.

Thanks,

Logging as a find per CO permission. Cool area, too bad it has had lots of disturbances. Leaving a favorite point for the cool area, even though I did not find it. Hopefully this one has better luck in the future!

I searched for a long time and couldn’t find it I found a piece of springy plastic material like you would find For an ID badge on the ground but nothing in the trees or anywhere near

I was over here after work today to run an errand at one of the stores. I had no idea this was here, and what an odd little building in an unexpected place. The container was a little more exposed than I'm used to seeing with your hides, but there aren't many people over this way and it shouldn't be obvious to people viewing the coliseum. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3641

Slowly making our way to World Turtle a couple at a time. Brought the tool recommended by others and got the container open and signed log. You might also bring pliers. Its stuck tight. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy the game and have some fun with it. Just back from the Punic Wars in Carthage. Its good to be home in Rome. sl

Lived here for 61 years and never heard, saw, or knew of this object.

Cracks in columns are artificial cracks. Broken concrete pieces were cast the way. Built to look ancient and falling down. Who built it and why. Until I find out who and why, I'm saying Kilroy built. That's my story and sticking to it.
