Oh man! I forgot to log this cache. I found this one a while back and sadly now I cannot remember the date it was found. I remember a cold day and my daughter came with me out to Falcon for something. We stopped at this one and parked further up the road so we had to walk back down the road and then up the dirt road. Quickly we made the fine and then she ran back to the truck because it was so cold out. Thanks for the great puzzle and hide!

A long time since a SKuLL cache has been found in my caching efforts. Not quite SKuLL Mtn, but challenging nonetheless.
I'll admit, I had to call in the Army Calvary on this one. It looked familiar but wasn't happening mentally. An SOS was sent out and in came the "ahhhh" moment. Using this one towards the local prism challenge so it's helpful to find it.

Well, Kerewin0430's log says it all. I had looked at this at home recently, and put it aside until asked about it yesterday. That produced a session in which I lost many brain cells and felt very stupid when I finally saw the solution. Excellent job on this puzzle! Thank you for the challenge!

This cache turned into quite the adventure! Qaz had asked me about it quite some time ago, and I was useless. I've pondered it over and over since then, and finally reached out to a bunch of others yesterday at Dave's memorial BBQ. More than one person walked by our table and laughingly commented, "that looks like a geocacher trying to solve a puzzle" as COpackrat and I tried all sorts of things with the printout, holding it up to the sun, playing connect the dots, etc. We elicited the help of a handful of previous finders who were also in attendance, and everyone had a vague recollection of it and varying suggestions, but nothing that yielded results the checker liked. The puzzle and hide had been changed in the meantime, as well, so we decided to take our chances and go to the original GZ (as provided by the cachers who had gotten FTF 5 years ago) and see what kind of magic would happen if we were in the general area. Sure enough, armed with the excellent hint provided on the cache page, geosenses kicked in a ways away and the container revealed itself!! We were hesitant to claim a real find until we understood the puzzle, so I reached out to the CO, who graciously explained what we had missed.
I was really looking forward to solving this one so I could finally qualify for and place a "Double Rainbow" Challenge...but come to find out, the new rules say a challenge can't be based on words in cache titles. Alas. Still a great puzzle and definitely brought a lot of people together! Thank you for placing this fun puzzle...and for the final reveal that made it all click!

If I remember correctly I solved this one by my own little lonesome. Found quickly.

A muggle co-worker helped me with the puzzle. I didn't think what he was doing was going to work but it did! Now I have everything I need for the prism challenge. TFTC

We didn't need this cache for the color, but wanted to solve it anyway. This one was such a quandary to us for quite some time. We finally asked the CO for a nudge and he helped us put the puzzle together. Gampa had cross-country practice at his school today, so this was right on the way. Container in good shape. SL Thanks for helping us think harder!

I was glad to see that this one was finally re-enabled. Quick find for me and my son, however, I forgot to log it online until now. TFTC SL.

Thanks for the fun puzzle cache! I've been looking at this one off and on because I too only needed violet. I was never in a rush as the cache had been disabled for some time, but then was fixed up. Back to work! I tried a lot of things, all of which were shot down. I was always tempted to get the answer from the THeSKuLL but this was one of his easier ones and I just couldn't do it. Then one day last week I looked at it and did the ol' forehead slap. I have no idea how I missed it all that time! Armed with the new final and heading out this way the kiddos and I stopped to log it. Man was it windy up here! Back in the car and off to the event!
