This cache is placed along the 8-mile trail system near the High Plains Environmental Center. Be aware of muggles along the trail. You will be searching for a camouflaged lock-n-lock container. This cache is located in an area where your signal may bounce so use your geosense!

I have provided the most convenient parking waypoint, which will be about a 10 minute walk each way to the cache. Online maps show a road that gets closer - "Medford Dr.", however it is clearly marked as private property, "Trespassers will be prosecuted", so please use the parking coords provided. The easiest way to access parking is off of Rocky Mountain Avenue.

Unactivated geocoin for FTF.

This trail system is open from dawn till dusk.

Update 7/10/10: This cache had moved about 20' from my original placement, but I like the new spot much better than where I had it! Coordinates updated.

Found it right where the coordinates said it should be. And a great place for the hide. The three-leaf sumac shrubs are in bloom. Great place to be today. Thank you OneKindWord for the hide.

Too overgrown right now, can barely move in there. Will come back and look this fall.

TFTC. Geocaching with my granddaughter. She wanted the glitter and we left a clip and a purple do dad. The cache was right where my phone located it

Erasing a DNF from this past summer. Cords are a few feet off. Glad to finally find it. A lot easier without all the weeds and leaves.
