Here is another in a series of caches made from Trail Mix or nut jars. This is the 49th in the series. The Screech Owl and Goshawk Trails form a nice loop aroung this park so you can go either way to get to this cache and a few others along the way including a couple buddy caches of mine called Wally and Eddie. The entire loop is about 4 miles. You can hike it or bike it.

You can park at any of the several parking areas - waypoints incuded.

Hit the trails this brisk morning to find the new TM cache. No muggle encounters makes for a peaceful hike! A little bit of snow at the final. Thanks for another great cache in the series! Cheers!

Parked near the dog park and hiked 3.3 mile loop counter clockwise. Zippy, then over to Pacman, up Sapsucker to Eddie and this one. Hiked back on Goshawk to Screech Owl. The eastern side (Goshawk) is about 70% winter conditions with some elevation change.

Wow, #49! Roc buff and I were so excited to see another Trail Mix published that we had to come out on this beautiful day and grab it along with the others in the area. The trail is so smooth and well-maintained. We could have hiked another 5 miles.

Proud to say that with this cache we have found the entire Trail Mix series.

Swapped trackables.

Thanks for the fun!

This was my goal for the day. Unfortunately I have limited time today and have to head out before finishing the loop. Fav point for the series and this park.

[FTF] #89 @ 8:45. WOO-HOO!! Three new caches, including a shiny new Trail Mix by my favorite CO less than 7 miles from home got my attention immediately. I cannot believe my luck this morning and pretty much dropped everything and ran out the door for a shot at FTF Gold. After finding Eddie down below I made the short walk up to the Trail Mix GZ. A brief search ensued before I spotted the tell tale sign of the Cajrrman TRAIL MIX NUT JUG! I was super elated to find a blank log, which I immediately added my stamp to in the Pole Position. Then I went ahead and tore off a square of paper from the back of the log sheet, and hiked back down to Eddie to add a temporary log for him. I'm super happy and proud to say I'm one of a handful that have found all the Trail Mix caches, and I'm looking forward to #50! Thanks again for another wonderful hide, happy to award it's inaugural favorite point! TFTC
