Actually solved this a while ago (after much head-scratching!) and finally had the chance to go look for it today. Unfortunately we couldn't read the numbers to open the lock and had to send a message to the CO - who kindly came riding in to rescue us very quickly. It was great to meet you and we appreciate your efforts on both of the mystery caches we found this evening.

Good puzzle, gets a favorite. Found cache container. Didn't read the instructions. Having worked combination locks in the military a thousand times, grabbed the numbers and turn turn turn. Nothing. Retry, nothing. Take a look at numbers, think we have one wrong. Turn turn turn with new number, nothing. Try different number, turn turn turn, nothing. Read instructions, am turning wrong way at start, I guess that is the civilian way. And it took 3 more tries before we finally got that one number correct. I'm not good at reading lying on the ground upside down. But success none the less. LoneWolf77 and myself back over on the western slope for another geocaching vacation. Always good caches in the Rifle area, one of our favorite spots. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy the game. sl
