Nice find on our walk after seeing the triceratops trail. Also picked up a TB to take home. TFTC from California!

Found it!

Nice to see that the trail is open, because it was closed on my previous attempt. Even though the weather was cold, there were a few bikers and dog walkers on the trail. Nice spot for a hide! TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache!

It took a bit of work to get here. I approached from the south, and found the trail closed. I first took the detour, but after a while it became apparent that it wasn't going to work. It leads much farther north than I needed to go. I also took a look from the golf course, but it's clear that it's fenced off from the trail. So I backtracked and took the closed trail, on the theory -- that's my word for "rationalization" here -- that the trail is closed to through traffic, but it's OK to use it to get to a spot just a few hundred feet down. From there on, it was easy. Cache is in good condition, though there's no stamp in it. Left a pathtag. Saw a traveler, but didn't take it. Thanks for the hide. Smile
