My dad and I decided to come out to Carnage Canyon today to get some of the caches up here. We took the hard way up the side of the mountain to the roads, but once we got on a real trail it was much easier. SL. TFTC!

I decided to traverse over to the cache once I was at the correct location rather than following the trail further up the hill then dropping back down. I was originally confused, since it seemed like GZ wasn't anywhere near the top of a hill. But it turns out GZ is on a nice shoulder amid a clearing and has an excellent view of the area. Kudos on the placement and thanks for bringing me here.

This one gets a favorite point from me. It has several elements that make it stand out in my mind: Nice view, off the regular path, and a discrete container placement. Thanks for taking the time to place this one. It made today's hike that much better.
