Wow, there used to be a really neat cache nearby to a nice top of the hill rock climbing spot for kids. But, kids will be kids and pretty much the whole area is covered with busted fluorescent light bulbs, not a pretty sight. The cache is a little ways away from that mess but the original cache is there in spirit. Maybe approach from the east if possible, off the trail.

#41879 Found while out caching around Colorado Spings today while visiting some friends for the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoyed exploring around the area. Nice system of trails back behind the houses here. It took me a few minutes to find this one because it wasn't exactly where I expected it to be. However, when I trusted the coordinates, my GPS led me right to the cache. Signed in and headed off down the trail. TFTC

I headed out while the weather was good to pick up a few new ones in the area.
The CO kindly provided me with an additional hint since my last visit. The current coords are spot on (the previous coords were also pretty close). Always glad to avenge a DNF.

Unfortunately the juvenile delinquents have turned this area into a HAZMAT site. Parks and Rec may clean it up if they have the manpower and equipment. I picked up a few of the big pieces. Maybe other Geocachers will do the same.
