Congratulations to OneKindWord and Denali41 on FTF!

This is the 100 mile challenge.  This is meant to be a precursor to completing Memfis Mafia's 500 mile and 1000 mile challenges down in Loveland.  100 Miles can be done in any direction and any way, but to qualify you must log TWO caches, each 100 miles apart in the same CALENDAR day.  For example, the way I qualified was by finding a cache in Loveland and then one in Colorado Springs in the same day while driving down to visit my sister.  You can drive, fly, jump, hop, skip, walk, bike or do whatever you want as long as the second cache you find is at least 100 miles away.  Any type of cache will qualify, but if its an Earth Cache or virtual cache I ask that you be fair and don't "save" the information to turn in just for this challenge.  Its meant to reward you for doing something special, not for being tricky.  This one is only 100 miles, a couple hours of driving via interstate, and you can even turn it into a day-trip to another state for a souvenir if you want, just make it fun!

To qualify, you must show proof either with the GC codes, dates, and length in-between (you do the math, not me) or use a GSAK macro to complete the information such as I will provide in my example.  If you do not post the required information within a reasonable amount of time, your log may be deleted.  This is meant to be a fun challenge for those of you going on a trip or visiting family in another city/state.  If you qualified for either of Memfis Mafia's challenges you may use the same information you used for his challenges for mine, but you must still go out and sign this cache's log.

My Example:2014-10-12 125.28 GC7D47 GCA9C3

The cache itself is going to be very easy for you to find, with plenty of parking and even picnic benches nearby.  The difficulty and terrain rating are based on the fact you will be traveling at least 100 miles for this cache, costing wear/tear on vehicles or paying for a plane ticket.

Like all challenges, this is not mandatory, only do it if you're already planning a trip somewhere.  You may also sign the log and do a "write note" ahead of time, and change it to found once you have completed the challenge.

You may also email me if you have questions or want to know if something qualifies.

Here on an amazing 10 day geocaching road trip with sweet-marie, kteeeee and laphamclan. We flew into Kansas City and after renting a car we drove through Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and back to Kansas. All logs were either signed CCC (Crazy Canadian Cachers) or stamped with our red CCC stamp. Answers to Virtuals and Earthcaches have been sent in on behalf of the group.
Writing a note until I can verify.

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC
