Like the Richter earthquake scale, I wanted geo-cachers to have a place to experience a progressive increase in geocaching difficulty.
This one is 1.0 on the GC Scale - See if you can make it through all 4 levels at the same time - Have Fun!

This one is a simple, very traditional geocache container. Hopefully it will not be discovered quickly by muggles. I needed to leave it out in the open to be a 1.0 on the GC scale (alright, it is a 1.5 because I had to cover it to hide it). Should be an FC, then continue to the second one just to the North of here. That one is a 2.0 on the GC Scale.

Note: No hints will be given on any of the 4 caches for this series. Also, they are not a multi-cache since you can do them individually. But try to do them in order for the most fun!

I suggest you park in the small pull-off area on the West side of Powathon, just North of the "ALASKA" geocache. You will need to walk North as you progress through the series of GC Scale geocaches.

Mr. Dashon took the long walk. Visiting from California with our friends Ladditude, who introduced us to Geocaching in 2004. Enjoyed the beautiful Colorado sky and picked up 35 caches on the run. Thanks to the CO's for placing these great caches. SL
