Finally got up here to find this cache. Quite an adventure. Researched this one but not much info on where to start or what to expect. Guess that is why it's not visited very often. We tried two spots and finally settled on one. Had trouble finding trail at bottom so we followed a likely ridge. Finally connected with trail farther up. Beautiful views and gorgeous meadows on top. Found benchmark easily. Had trouble with cache. Finally found out in the open. Looks like a bear got a hold of it. Log was soaked. We put in a new plastic bag and put it about 10 feet from coordinates, trying to keep it high and dry. Needs a new container. Maybe the next visitor can bring one. Tftc

Had our eyes on this lonely cache and set out with a bundle of enthusiasm. After crashing the bike shortly after setting off road and causing major damage (punctured radiator), I effectively ruined our opportuinty for this cache. Although Stubbified had some trouble keeping his bike upright, he didn't have a hole in radiator and no coolant. Had to coast all the way back down. I feel I ruined the adventure, maybe if I make it out here for another trip. I hate leaving unfinished business.

Tried to take the bikes to the top
...... 3 crashes and one popped radiator later we had to give up riding... Looked at the hike but time was not on our side...... Beat us this time... But I'll be back

Could you put your waypoints back that you had on here before. These would be very helpful. As I am planning a trip up here soon.
Thanks
mr.volkswagen.

Out on a beautiful spring day. This has been on my to do list for some time. It was great how you broke the hike into sections. I probably should have waited anouther few months to get this one. I had to push through 6" or more of snow in places. Once I got to checkpoint 5 it was an easy hike across the meadow. The check points were great going down too. I tryed to stay away from the snow and the gps kept me from getting lost. It took me 2 hours going up and 1 hour and 45 minutes going down. GREAT HIKE. One of my favorites so far so it deserves a favorite point from me. Grabbed both of the trackables and will move them along!! Thanks for the great day. SL TFTC
