A small screw type container, about 12oz sized, camo'd.
We all love these prickly caches, watch your step on the way in, easily accessible from the nearby trails. Placed in honor of our friends, Green Cat & Snuggly Kitten's 1000th find. We kept looking at the map view of this area and thought "This place really needs one!" Gave this some odd attributes. There are thorns nearby, so walk the bikes to the final coords. Good shoes also recommended, no sandals. And, this is snake country, trails to the south list snake warnings and we know they are in the area.
Parking availiable at Altair Park to the north and Cache is accessible from trail to south of park. Dont be fooled by satellite views or map programs, Altair does not connect to Quebec or the plaza.

SPRING 2013 - NOTE: Denver Water is all done with the construction of a new storage tank just to the East of this cache. All trails are open and the cache is accessible from all four directions now.

Made the walk to this cache onto be disappointed that it is not there. We did have a container to replace it with in the car. So back and forth we go. Made the replacement for all to enjoy.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Found it on a whim while out walking my dog. First cache actually logged on the site in 14 years. Oh how technology has changed. No pen, didn't sign logbook.

I am grabbing the caches within a 3 mile radius of my house. I had seen this one was MIA so I made sure to have a replacement before heading over here. Or so I thought. When my dog Jack and I got to GZ I opened my backpack only to find that... I had left the container in the car. So I went all the way back, grabbed the container and headed back to GZ. Same size as listed in the description. Unfortunately my zip tie was a tad small so it's wedged in between two branches. You'll find it easily enough.
