This cache was placed by Girl Scout Troop 21415 as part of earning their geocaching badge.  They had a blast finding this spot.  

The cache is hidden at Fanto Park.  This is a city park and is located on the south side of Park Elementary School. Consisting of over 2.98 acres, the park has a multiuse field, playground and basketball court. Since the park is fully fenced, it is a favorite place to play catch with man’s best friend.  The Park is one of the oldest in Durango. Fanto Park gets its name from Rose Fanto, a prominent donor and proprietor of a south Main Avenue bar that became one of the city’s hot spots in the 1920s.  .
