5 Logs: Found it 5

BugRanger and I decided yesterday to hit this geo-art today--which led to a mad rush to solve all the puzzles. I like baseball a lot, but have never been to a Rockies game and now I think I should. Anyway, solving involved a lot of google, a lot of guesswork, and way too much Captcha (yes, I DO know what a fire hydrant looks like!), but by this morning we were ready to hit the trails.

We had great luck finding all the caches quickly, and finished up in about 5 hours on a gorgeous late fall day. Along the way we saw some great views, got a bunch of stickers in our socks, watched some waterfowl, and passed so much abandoned furniture that we could have furnished an apartment building...if we didn't mind how it smelled. A fun day for sure!

I don't like cut and paste logs much, but they are a necessity on power trails. I'll add a few notes for a couple of caches, but otherwise, what can I say but thanks for all these caches and the work that went into them!

Teamed up with FayColSalTom, Turtleboy29 and BackCountryHorseman to grab the rest of this series today. We signed logs today as 4chicks to save space on the log. I usually sign logs as 2 paws when I cache with my daughter, so there may be a 4paws or two out there. I had a scary moment while on the trail. I fell into a waist deep hole - it was full of tumbleweeds so I didn't even see it coming. They must have broken my fall somewhat as I am ok. Thank you for another great series and so many of our smileys today!

I had a bad batting average for solving these with many wild "pitches" i know a lot more about the Rockies now. Found with FayColSalTom Backcountryhorseman and LASouthpaw on a beautiful Colorado day. Signed logs as 4Chicks. Thanks for the puzzle and cache .
