Halloween is an extra fun time of year for JrPuppyPaw and me.  The excitement of decorating the house, costumes, corn mazes, and jack-o-lanterns.  The leaves are turning colors and the temperatures are cooling down.  This year the kiddo was also excited to create this series of caches.  Some are kooky and some are spooky… we hope all of them bring a smiley to your day.

Owner Maintenance 04/26/2022 By lasouthpaw
Laced up my shoes today and literally went on a maintenance run. Didn't change out any logs, but did remove strange swag as I went along. Renaming some of the Halloween and Christmas caches as I go. I don't know what I was thinking when I numbered them, I can't remember which one is which. Saw a snake at my last stop. Startled me because A- I almost stepped on it and B- I never expect to see them in the middle of the sidewalk. Everything was good at each of my 11 stops. Cache on!

Happy to redeem our DNF. Thanks lasouthpaw for the nudge. We thought we had looked there but obviously not very well. Cute container !

Got out and about to find some geocaches, before the predicted cold and snow puts a damper on my favorite outdoor activity - this was the thirteenth stop on a park-once-find-fourteen excursion. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

I was out on a mini cache maintenance run today so I made a stop here. Cache is in place and ready to be found. :)

Tried really hard on this one but just could not find it. Will put on our watch list.

Got pretty close to getting the rest of this series, all but one and this will be the last for the day. Not my favorite trek to gz, so got a nudge from the CO to make sure the effort paid off. The container was well crafted. Thanks for a fun day finding these well designed caches. SL

I think this one was our longest walk to get to the cache, so far. Good coordinates lead to a fast find. This is a nice location.

Broke out the geo-bike to go after this cache. Arrived at GZ and thought oh where could it be. So I "WWTD"what would trolls do! Finally spotted the cache but could only get my middle finger on it. Well, I had to make a TOTT to help me get at it and it worked Smile. Really enjoyed the container, Very nice hide, TNLN,SL,TFTC

{FTF} @ 9:55AM

I didn't have a FTF for this calendar day and was excited when I saw this pop up. I set a watch on this cache and got ready to head out the door. But, before heading out I decided to refresh the page one more time and noticed that there was a puzzle cache that had just published that was closer to me. I got to work on the puzzle immediately and had the correct coordinates with my first entry. I set a watch on that cache and headed out the door; it's about a 30 minute drive for me. Just as I was pulling up to the site my phone chimed to let me know that the cache had been found. I walked up to the FTF's car and exchanged some pleasantries before heading over to ground zero to log it. Then I got back in my car and made the ~20 minute drive over to this one. Fortunately, I was successful in claiming it first!

I was so anxious to ensure that nobody would snag this one from me that I took the straight line approach instead of the appropriate path. Fortunately, I didn't come out too much worse for the wear. I took the nice path back to the car.
