Scenic view  Available during winter  Public restrooms nearby  Flashlight required  Park and Grab

This is a busy area during the summer for all river sports. Be aware of people watching and re cammo re hide as you found it!  I see they now put a gate in so this may be a seasonal one!

If you spend less than 30 minutes here I wouldn't worry about paying. It's up to you though!

FTF! Drove up from BV after a 4 hour meeting so I wasn’t too disappointed when I saw the locked gate just off the highway. I skinnyed the car along the boulders and walked the .75 mi down the road. Fortunately a truck had been down & back through the snow so I had wheel tracks to follow. Got close to GZ & climbed the buck n rail fence (tough) and slip slidded my way through the snow & rocks down the hillside. Got to what was pretty close to the hint & searched & searched digging up rocks, snow & bushes. 15 minutes & no luck. So I headed to the next closest hinted object slipping & tripping some more but nothing there either. So I headed north about 100’ to what ended up being a place that exactly matched the hint & viola there was a nice container with a blank log. Cool! But this is one reason why I am not such a big FTF especially if I don’t know the CO. I’ve even found myself searching on private property in the wrong county. Some cachers try to find at least one FTF a month & some even go for one a week. I guess mine would be more like one a year!
