I went on a little caching run with my two kids and their neighborhood friend. While my son and daughter tossed a football around in the parking lot, the neighborhood kid joined me in the search. I spotted the hiding spot fairly quickly and I did the hot/cold game as much as I could with him so he could get the joy of uncovering the cache.

This is the second in the series that I've found and I'm glad this was much easier than the other to spot!

Interesting area here. After the cache was found, we hung out for another 20 minutes or so playing football in the parking lot. Thanks for bringing us here to this interesting little spot. I wonder what it was before it was abandoned.

At coordinates I found a cinder block with rock inside with a wood plank roof but no cache. I'm not sure if the cache was here but I could not come up with it.

First time I came here to look everything was covered in snow and I thought there's no way the coordinates can be right so I looked in all the wrong places. Came back today and quickly made the find. Got two containers from the local dope heads! TFTC!

What a fitting container to find the night before Thanksgiving. Reminded me of the amazing Pumpkin pie I will be eating tomorrow.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

LATER: Got the new cache notification and knowing 2lablovers' MO, I know they tend to put a little extra creativity into their hides. Out the door I rushed and as I got closer to GZ, I was wondering where the CO was leading me. This abandoned area is certainly spooky looking at night. I found the cute little hide by flashlight, but it was bright enough to sign the log by moonlight. I looked up to see a haunted-looking tree against the clouds and moon, and decided to try a night shot with a new app. I had the pleasure to meet the CO at a CITO last month, and now I have the honor to have a FTF! tft(Halloween) , SL
