Congrats tinytuttle on FTF!

This is part of a series of challenges I am releasing for new cachers in the area to find something they can qualify for.  Sometimes its discouraging for those of us who have only been caching for a little while to see some of the difficult challenges in Fort Collins, and its nice to have something we can actually qualify for in the area!

This is called the Colorado Challenge!  In commemoration of my 1000th find in Colorado, I decided to post this challenge for others to do as well.  This is a challenge to find 1000 caches in Colorado!  This cache is designed to be an extra incentive to find caches here in our glorious, wonderful state.  The caches can be of any type or size, but must have been found in Colorado.

You must copy/paste your information from your Statistics --->Maps section, or post information from GSAK.  If you are posting information from your Geocaching.com profile statistics, make sure your profile is set to public so I can review your finds and make sure you qualify.  If you do not qualify or do not post your information within a reasonable amount of time your post may be deleted.  I understand that life happens and you may not be able to log your information the same day, but it shouldn't take you longer than a few days to edit your post with the required information.

Here is my information as an example:

You have cached in 1 state:Colorado1069

I expect this to be an easy challenge for many people, but I also want to stress that its meant to be a fun challenge for newer cachers like myself who haven't been caching for years, and it gives them something to strive for.  We live in a wonderful state for outdoors activity and have plenty of variety when it comes to geocaching (we could be like Wyoming and need to hide everything under rocks) so this is to reward you for caching in our great state!  The caches can be found at any point in time, but you must have all 1000 finds in Colorado before you mark this as "Found".

The container is small enough to hold small trackables and small SWAG, please replace it as found to keep it hidden from muggles.

Difficulty and Terrain ratings are based upon the requirements for finding 1000 caches in Colorado, some people will do this all in a weekend at a power trail, some will take months or years to find this many in Colorado and have them spread out around different terrains and difficulties so it may vary person to person, but this is just a base D/T to find all 1000 for the average person.

I hope you enjoy this challenge and the others I am bringing to the area, as a newer geocacher myself I'm excited to post these so I hope you're all excited to log them!

As I neared GZ, I saw a pair of muggles taking in the sights so decided to wait them out by walking in a bit of a loop rather than literally trolling them Wink. Once they cleared, this was an easy cache to find and log. I took a screenshot of my current state count (though my profile is set to public as well) as evidence of my qualifications for this hide. I must say, I was a little sad to see CO was only my second highest state with 1357 finds. Dang NV and their power trails...anywho, thanks for the cache and the stat challenge!

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

I had a little trouble with finding the container as someone had placed t where t didn't fit the hint. Fortunately I spotted it from a distance as I search the correct corner, so I fetched t, signed the log, and replaced the container where it was supposed to be according to both the hint and the coordinates. As far as the challenge is concerned this one seems mostly aimed at Colorado cachers; I just passed 200 Colorado finds today, but as I continue my 'caching career' and return to the state I will eventually ple up the needed 1000 finds; after all I have that many in five states so far: CA, OR, WA, MN, and TX. TFTC in advance!
