Found at 4:12pm with MammaCa$$. Prairie dogs squeaked as we approached the trail. Happy to get this one today while the sun was out

Glad I managed to get this nice oldie on my too brief of a trip to Denver. I am in town for hardly a day and a half and I hoped to get at least one virtual or earthcache while I was here. This was my second virtual, and my last because i had to get to the airport to head back home. It is so cool to have added a cache from 2001 while here on this trip. I can't believe how cold it is, though, for October and didn't expect to be caching in the snow! Still excited to have it. Noted the coords at each end and answers have been sent. Thanks for the oldie!

Last day of our Colorado vacation. We made our way from Ft Collins to Denver, stopping here along the way. Parked at the nearby strip center, then walked the quarter mile or so to GZ. Cool spot. Answers are en route to the CO. TFTC!

Flew in from Montana last night to visit family who are going camping this weekend near Estes Park. Had part of the day to go treasure hunting so picked a couple geocaches nearby.
Walked along this trail a couple times on previous visits so knew where I needed to be for this little treasure. TFTC

Nice early fall walk with Salt. Lots of gophers to tease him. Took a stroll to the other tunnel

On a Fall trip through Colorado doing some caching and seeing the sites. A beautiful scenic drive through Rocky Mountain National Park. Visiting the downtown areas of Boulder, Denver, Castle Rock and Colorado Springs to name a few. We enjoyed a beautiful hike on the Barr trail at the Summit of Pikes Peak. It was a wonderful trip with quite a bit of caching thrown in along the way. Thanks for the fun virtual. Answers emailed.

Walking along this trail right now. Parking is difficult-I parked at the school & walked from there but a bike would be better.
Answers have been sent.

An interesting cache, especially the evolution. I guess that's part of the changing in geocaching. The nice thing about this is you are using this was a learning piece for cachers, kind of wish it included giving the coordinates in different formats (another learning opportunity). Appreciate the cache!
