From Reservoir Trailhead this cache is about 2.25 miles away. Walk is on resiviour trail then on a jeep road.
This is a fun hike to do, it takes you by the awesome Reservoirs and then up above them into the trees. The Jeep trail is a little rugged in spots but we've taken our 11 and 9 year-olds up several times. If you are taking children much younger then that I'd pack band-aids because slipping will happend. This cache is located at Flintstone's Playground atop a peak overlooking much of the front range. It is a great place to picnic and an even better place to play on the rocks. (Once again...band-aids likely to be needed).
Like always, we hiked in, which is about 5 miles round trip but you can 4X4 in and drive within 300ft of the cache. (Cheaters).
Cache is an ammo can. Not a good cache if there is a lot of snow.

Thanks for the fun cache in a great location! Out on an afternoon cache run with CrumCrunchers to get to a few caches that we have had on our lists. The weather may not have been the best and afforded little to no views today but we managed to stay relatively dry and warm. Found this cache in great condition after a brief search. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for placing this cache for us all to enjoy!
