MerryMary and I are on a two-week vacation to Colorado to enjoy the fall colors -- taking photos, camping, hoteling, hiking, and 4-wheeling. Today was spent in the Gunnison and Crested Butte areas of Colorado, and driving the Slate River loop. We stopped here to find this cache after visiting Gothic and deciding to hike to Judd Falls. Still getting used to the altitude change, but it was a nice hike. And the cows we met along the trail were friendly Smile. SLTNLN -- thanks for the fun, GPS Nav and Shadeau...
One unlucky dude's car :-( Glad we own a Jeep :-)

Many thanks to Vorticity for replacing the cache, which had been muggled. The cache is still an ammo can, just moved to a more secure location. Six Friends is refreshed and open for business!

This one has been on my list for many years. We finally found ourselves in Crested Butte during a period with no snow. A spectacular spot. A clear FAV. Vort.
