Parking available

This is the fifth in a series.  When the Smoky Hill neighborhoods were developed decades ago it included several small neighborhood parks nestled away among the houses, most not on a city street.  Not sure if this was originally supposed to be one of those.

What it is now is a catch (cache) basin for rainwater control.  This cache is a camo'd tube approx 2"X3".  Please open by squeezing at the arrows.  Contains a log and a couple of "treasures" including a wooden FTF coin.  Street parking adjacent on Yampa Ct, Yampa Cir and Walden Cir with access via 4 cut throughs on the N, NE and S side. Be careful going down the hill towards the cache.  Terrain is set this high mainly for the GZ. You might not want to attempt if the weather is wet. Field has been recently mowed but I expect there will be times during the summer when the grass and weeds get pretty high.

Congratulations to Frye Guys for being FTF!

Apparently I am no longer able to find a cache without being accompanied by the lovable and always cheerful herndonrd. Today was no exception, as I was out and about caching with herndonrd simply because I make him look good. Usually, he finds the caches while I look in all the wrong places. We were on a special mission today as he had already found every cache we searched for, and acted as my geo-sherpa today. I appreciated the assistance as I was aiming to find exactly 28 caches to satisfy the requirements of one of the many challenges I signed eons ago. This one was right where the cache owner (i.e. you) left it.

Hooray!

After we did the whole sign and replace thing here we celebrated our victory by hopping back into the car and driving off to another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.

P. S. No animals (humans or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.

We decided to take a break from moving back into our house from so many months gone and went caching and what a great day we had. Thanks to all the hiders for such great finds and maintaining them as we know how much work that can be. The weather was near perfect also. TFTC
