This is a cache placed for my older sister, who happens to be an owl.  I'm a moose, she's an owl, got a problem with that?!?

Congrats to my sister, the Owl, on FTF! She may change her username at a later date but she signed the log as DebbyCSU. No, I did not tell her where the cache was I merely gave her warning that a new one was coming out in her area, taught her the basics of geocaching, and left her to find it on her own!

This cache is located in a public area very close to where my sister lives.  While visiting her in Colorado Springs I found a spot nearby to place a cache for her to find.  She is new to geocaching and I'm trying to get her as excited about it as I am!  This is a well-camouflaged container but should be very easy for the experienced cacher.  Make sure it stays hidden for the next person.  I made this one very easy so that new cachers can find it too!  The terrain rating is based upon a steep hill where the cache is located and can be very slick depending on the weather so be careful.

The cache is big enough for small SWAG and small trackables.

Kacy, king and mom found! Didn’t have a pen so I didn’t sign, but we put a tiny #719 rick in the container.

Out with rsfixit on our weekly fun cache run. We batted about .500 today, which would be great for baseball, but not so great for geocaching. :-( Neverthe less, we had a lot of fun. rsfixit drove and I was the navigator he didn't trust. Even so, we eventually arrived at good parking spots for all the caches. We should be a comedy routine, we put on quite the show.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy!

Quick and easy! I’m a new cacher so I appreciated this one. My GPS coordinates were off, saying I was about 20 feet from it when I was standing there. The GPS never indicated ground zero though, so could be my phone. Thanks for the cache!
