While out searching for both Earthcache locations and Trailmarkers for the 2014 International Earthcache Day Virtual 5k run, we ran across several neat hide locations and/or viewpoints to the valleys below.  This is one that meets ALL of the above, so much so that we were willing to drop one of our more expensive caches to provide staying power over the years.   Enjoy the hike, view, and find!

Less than 20 minute hike from good parking at Land of Lakes Overlook.  Unmarked trail last half of distance so tread softly! No bushwacking but moderately steep rocky inclines to negotiate.

I tried this along the rim and switched to an interior approach. Even so, it was tough enough to find.
