Moderately difficult 4WD road – FR318 … Power Line Road.

I was inspired by “climbstuff’s” Maritime History series , with its definitions of the origins of obscure phrases, to dedicate a cache to my Dad who, while alive, joined me on a few Geocaching expeditions in Florida. As a kid, he was not always the nicest father. An expression the 4 boys often heard was, “If you keep that up, you’re going to get “What Ho!” My brothers and I knew what “What Ho!” meant … it had something to do with a swat to the buttocks.

Interesting to me, is this book, What Ho! The Best of P.G. Wodehouse

 Hints

- North side of boulder field. Look for "cave" entrance behind a bush. Enter then look to the left.
- Flashlight or headlamp might help.
- Need high clearance vehicle. 4WD will be best for a couple of steep spots.

Loved this area! Cache was sitting out in the open and appeared to have been moved (out of the cave). I returned it to the coordinates after signing the log. Neat hide! It's in great shape. TFTC!

I picked up this nice cache during a short run and recon for new cache locations near MT Herman road. I didn't mean to find caches down this route, but once I got sucked in picking up some along this route, and had to keep going. "Geo-complusion." Whereas I unfortunately had to preside over the death of GC1C9HT MACRO'S Big Brother (Still Tired of Micros), I happy to report that this one is not only still in play, but in pristine condition. Loved the GZ here. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache, and the series, for everyone to find, TFTC.

Thanks for the fun cache! I came out this way with CrumbCrunchers after this morning's souvenir event in Woodland Park. We had several caches planned in the area mostly on the offshoots of Rampart Range Road. Found this on in great shape. Signed and stamped the log, and replaced as found. Fun cache in a great location. This road proved to be a great test for CrumbCrunchers Hyundai Veracruz! Handled it like a champ! (despite the fact i was holding on for dear life and saying a few silent prayers)

I had been testing my Hyundai Vera Cruz on many of the spur roads in the area. This road remained a mystery. I couldn't find much information, but there seemed to be a lot of caches up here. So, I asked RPieperco to join me on a cache run today and see what this road was like. One hill had us pretty worried coming up and out. Otherwise not too bad. Loved the cave and area you found for this cache. Sl, thanks!
