Cache located in Cheyenne Mountain State Park. $7.00 day use fee or state park pass required. Access to park is from Hwy 115 across from Ft. Carson's main gate. Please park in designated area only. Do not park along the roadways.

Colorado State Park

OK Kids! (And kids at heart.) Welcome to Colorado's newest state park, Cheyenne Mountain State Park.

It has beautiful views, lots of trails to explore, and a friendly staff to provide information and it also has a Geocache! This cache is based on Sparky the Fire Dog, the cartoon mascot of the National Fire Protection Association. You can visit Sparky's website at : (visit link) The cache is located along the Zook walking trail which provides a nice loop back to the parking lot.
