Prime leaf peeping area along the Peak to Peak where there is a beautiful aspen grove that consistently shows off deep orange/red colors each year.

Size of a bison tube hidden just off of parking area that should be accessible year round depending upon snow depth.

Don't be afraid, this one does not bite!

On our way to our weekend dwelling and saw this new cache available and stopped by to make the grab. Have always loved this area for the annual leaf peeping and this is a great spot for a cache.

[FTF] #87! WOO-HOO! The Geopuppy Boone and I swung over to Blackhawk this afternoon with the primary objective of grabbing this FTF. We spent a few minutes inspecting everywhere the cache wasn't hiding, until we expanded our search range a bit. A couple more minutes and we finally laid eyes on the fun container. I happily added my stamp in Pole Position, replaced as found, and snapped a few pictures. The Aspens are past their peak, but still plenty of gorgeous colors to be found here. Many thanks to CO J_and_Crew for another fun and creative hide in a great spot. On to the next ones, TFTC!
