Note: This geocache is NOT at the listed coordinates. You will need to solve the following puzzle to find the final location.

The code to life is written in G, C, T, and A…  it’s the base-pair code of DNA. DeoxyriboNucleic Acid is a code but few know what it actually codes for. Commonly people use generalities… such as “DNA makes you-you and makes me me.”  That may be true, but to be specific, DNA is a code to make Proteins, which do almost all of the work inside our cells. The central dogma states that DNA --> RNA --> Protein. With few exceptions, all 30+ trillion cells in our body have the same copy of DNA. There are hundreds of different cell types, and they use the same DNA code to make proteins specific to the job of that cell type.  In humans there are 22,000+ genes that code for specific proteins. These proteins are long chains of Amino Acids. There are only 20 different types of Amino Acids, and it’s the DNA code that determines which Amino Acid will be added to the growing protein chain. To solve this puzzle you will need to use the tools below to determine the Amino Acid Sequence of these IMPOSSIBLY SMALL proteins. Once you know the Amino Acids, simply use the single-letter abbreviation to spell out the coordinates.

Warning: Some Amino Acids can have more than one abbreviation.

I had a doctor appointment in Boulder and this was (almost) on the way, so I had to swing by. Got here early enough that I didn't have to worry about too many muggles. My phone was surprisingly jumpy here, I was happy to have the hint to help out. Everything is in good shape at the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and the smiley! Find #3384,

Finally solved this puzzle with bunnyscout5 and TFTC. Once we looked in the right area we made the find. Coordinates were a bit off, but not by much.

Found as advertised, and also close enough to another of my caches that I could do some maintenance. TFTC

I solved a ton of your puzzles yesterday. As a science teacher, it was a great way to spend a morning over coffee. Going around to make the finds today.

Found it today finally. It was a little bit easier to search for with some of the snow melted away. As luck would have it most of the snow in this area was plowed directly in front of the GZ. It was also well camouflaged and a little bit on the perimeter of where I expected it to be
