It’s a beautiful afternoon for caching and insect-watching. Lots of bicycles out here too, including a few who tried to bully this walker out of their way. Oh well, I’m still intact.

One of the protective straw pieces jumped off the log and landed…somewhere. It’s black and all the shadows really don’t make a search reasonable. The log is still in good shape with one piece of straw, which should suffice.

As for being STF instead of FTF—I can’t emphasize how little I care about that. I’m much happier that this is my 4th October 2023 find and my (new! Just finished it up in Sweden!) quad Jasmer is up to date again. Thanks for this, of course!

FTF. Took the pleasant walk out to the cache and made a quick find. Unbelievable how many people are out this way now!
