What a surprise I had when I found the cache. A baby snake with red, yellow and black stripes guarding the cache. I think it was a westerb milksnake. We got the cache out, signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding place. The snake didn't move very far away but stayed away from us. tftf.

Pulled off to take a picture of the old homestead. Than I looked to see if a cache might be close by. Grateful for the beautiful surroundings and the cache! Signed as R3D3.

This is a neat little spot off the highway. I loved looking at those old buildings. There was a tractor parked nearby, but I didn't see the farmer anywhere. The cache on the other hand was easy to find. Everything is in great shape! Thanks for keeping this one up, it helped me add other county on my list today.

Find #49095

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide e3brown, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!
