Traditional "tupperware" cache in Denver Mountain Park system on Berrian Mountain. Elevation is about 8500. There is a faint trail and some scrambling over rocks to find the cache.
The parking place to start this search is on Armadillo Trail in Evergreen Meadows East off of Hwy 73 between Evergreen and Conifer. Take Gray Fox Dr from Hwy 73 to Armadillo Trail. Park at N 39 34.061, W 105 18.113. There is a place on the side of the road to pull off. At this point, you are on public property owned by Denver Mountain Parks. On the west side of the street is a faint trail going in the direction of the cache. Follow the trail if you can or follow your compass. Original contents include pen, pencil, keychain necklace, sunglasses, 2 Red Lobster mardi gras necklaces, a lego piece, a rock, 3 pennies, and a Shark Tale video game. Enjoy!

Better check on this one. Like the last seeker, I spent enough time here to search every spot at GZ that fit the hint. Even checked down slope to see if gravity or rain moved it, but to no avail. I think it has been muggled.

I spent more than half an hour after getting to the location.
Hint was clear, but cache remained hidden.
Great views, but disappointed with the DNF.
Everybody else seems to find the cache.

A nice morning in Berrian Mtn Park today. Only saw 5 other hikers on a Saturday in July!!! Thanks to Denver Mountain Parks for allowing theses caches and the owner for placing them! Parked at the Armadillo Road trailhead. Nice little scramble up to this one. Cheers!

Trail notes:
3.9 miles, 1800 ft gain/descent
First 3 caches in about 0.5 miles, then used Bella waypoints. Red and Blue both lead to Orange which take you near Bella.
Bella's first WP notes:
About 0.5 miles from last of early caches, stay on trail it will get you there.
Go straight on blue blazes for Happy Halloween cache and then up the orange blazes to Bella.
Turn left on red blazes for uphill to orange blazes steep climb to Bella.
Bella's second WP notes:
Follow blue trail to intersection and follow a couple of blues uphill to orange to top.

I have been enjoying these Denver Mountain Parks this winter and have hidden caches in some of them including one today but not in this park. This was my third DMP hike today. I made the find here at 1:11 pm. Thanks for the cache! Cache is in good shape. First find since 2015.

David and I found this one nine years ago on 14 July 2006. I found the new container and added a rock. It was uncovered. TFTC. Still a beautiful view.
