Learn a little Parker history at this unique piece of "art"

Proceed to posted coordinates

Look for the round sign on the tall pole to start solving the puzzle.

A

B C D

E

A= take the middle two letters and write them down.,then write down the first letter describing the tall item the round sign is attached to

Looking toward the building you will see a functional piece of freestanding artwork less than 40 feet away. When you see it you will understand the name of the cache. The artwork has a plaque on it and has the rest of the information you need to solve the puzzle. The building really interferes with the satellite signal but the artwork will be very obvious to you. Here are the best coordinates I can get. N39 31.113 W104 45.293

B Take the first year mentioned on the plaque and subtract 973.

C write down the punctuation mark after the work architecture and put that mark between B and D

D Use the second year mentioned and subtract 1115.

E What three words describe the use of the Quonset hut?

You have all the information you need to find the final container. Go look!

The puzzle information is available 24 hours a day, but the final is available : Mon-Thu: 9AM-9PM Fri-Sat: 9AM-5PM Sun: 12-5PM Closed holidays

I took the day off to grab highly favorited caches in Parker. Somehow, this missed my original list. But another cache that I wanted to get close by was being hovered over by muggles so I decided to head over here and give this a shot. And I'm certainly glad I did! I love this style of cache. It did take a minute or two to make the actual grab but then I spotted it. Very well done and glad to find another like this.

Thanks for the hide sassydil. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

We are visitors from Kansas, so would appreciate if someone would message us a picture of the “round sign on the tall pole.” It will help me sleep better! TIA!!!

With the valuable help of Peggy the Librarian, we were able to pull out a smiley face! Never did find the ‘round sign on a tall pole,’ but we figured out the rest of the clues! Had to do this quick, but look forward to checking out the rest of the place next time! Took toy, left marine animals. SL TFTC!!!

Thought we knew where it was but I have a feeling our answer to A and E are wrong. Will have to return another day to try again.

Found this library cache then the Nerd cache. In town for the Art Walk and a nice lunch at Indochine. And a wind and rain storm to daunt all but the most fearless cachers. Thanks for the inside cache. Took the Kiwi TB; he's already seen more of the world than I, but I'll move him on a bit.
