Get ready for a 7 mile hike with over 3100ft of elevation gain.

I hiked this beautiful mountain with my son, girlfriend and her son (little Orphan Annie) who loves to sing all the time including when we hike. Needless to say we saw little wild life. The best part of the day is that we didn't see anyone else all day. We made our way to this place to find Get on Yer Red Nose and since we were unsuccessful after an hour of looking. I wouldn't want this beautiful place to be without a cache so I placed my own on the nearby summit.

I was back in Westcliffe for a couple of weeks and decided to revisit one of my favorite areas - Rudolph Mountain. The hiking was awesome and I was lucky to see lots of wildlife including 3 black bears - one by itself and a mother with a fresh cub. I also saw some elk, mule deer, and a snowshoe hare. Later in the morning I saw a blue grouse. Had a great time visiting the couple of caches up here! Thanks!! BP
