Needs maintenance

Short distance from trail - in a lightly wooded/brushy area. Small Open Ground area, grassy, lightly strewn with large rocks, boulders and deadwood/small logs.
Follow trail beside Van Bibber Creek (dry bed except in time of rain or snowmelt). Creek on other/North side of trail from cache. Cache in Small Open Ground area, in midst of brush, trees. Grassy, lightly strewn with large rocks, boulders and deadwood/small blow-down logs. Rubbermaid container, size roughly 6"x4"x2" is covered with camo tape. Tradeables - and - starting out with one Trackable also.
Rattlers seen fairly often in whole area - so - 'cuidado';
Best Practice in this general area: Check out all cavities or heavily covered terrain - by poking around with trekking pole, walking stick, etc., prior to reaching in with hand or foot - or especially before bending down with face to peek in.
TRAIL TRAFFIC CAN BE A LITTLE HEAVY - ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS – So besides rattlers, watch out for Muggles! LOL

First cache of the day. Took a few minutes to find the right spot, but made the find. Thanks for the cache.

Drove over here from Denver to grab some of these caches. Got settled in the parking lot around 10:30am and started my adventure. Roughly 8.5 miles and 4.5 hours later, I was back at the car. Found 15/15 caches and was happy with my day. Every cache was found in good condition. The trail was very well-marked and was one of the least muggle-filled ones I have been on since moving to Denver. Overall, great day. Thanks for all the caches.

Couldn't find the original cache today (7/23/18) even tho I placed it. Bummer. So, placed new cache at slightly - very slightly - different coordinates. New log & tradables. Same general area. Happy Caching!

There is nothing left of this cache except a baggie of swag. Needs a new container and log.
