Come take a walk up Hobbs Peak, and enjoy some of the best views South Evergreen has to offer! Start by parking in Marshdale park, head North up the paved road which dead ends in a cul de sac. Look East behind the school until you see the trail, which runs parrallell to the rear of the school. Follow the trail to the waypoint by the big lava rock marker and turn left up the green belt in between houses. Once you approach the Park rules and Regulation sign (park is open 1 hour before and after sunset), turn left up towards the rocks. This section requires a decent little climb through rocks and some downed trees but nothing crazy, your payoff at the top of the rocks are fabulous views of Marshdale meadow and the Continental divide at GZ. You are searching for a Cajrrman-esque Trail Mix jug filled with goodies. It took me just under 30 minutes to reach GZ from the parking lot. Please re-hide well, this is a popular place to soak in the views. Happy Hunting!
