Off the JQS Trail on the Raon Plateau. Off the side of the dirt road. Most likely need a 4-wheel drive vehicle and road may be impassable once winter sets in. Be careful if it's raining!
On September 27th, 2008 my brother was killed in a trucking accident while working on the Roan Plateau. This cache is a memorial to him. Mike was a simple man who loved eagles, catfishing and eating Almond M&M's in color order. Enjoy the view from the cache... I know my brother would have!
