This geocache is not for germophobes.  Look for a trash can.  This cache is guarded by a little friend.  Bring a pen and tweezers.

Don't put any stock in the title.  There is no water here, but there used to be a fountain in this park, and you can see a fire hydrant from the cache.  Thats about all the water you are looking for.

Some History about this park.

Emma Walsh is the daughter of Joe Walsh, the famous guitarist and keyboardist in the rock band, The Eagles. Emma loved North Boulder Park and played there with her mom, Stefany, almost every day after they moved to Boulder from Nederland in the early 1970’s. Tragically, Emma died as the result of a car accident, just shy of her 3rd birthday. In May 1976, a memorial fountain in North Boulder Park was dedicated to her by her father.

Emma’s short life inspired Walsh’s track, “Song For Emma”, on his first “official” solo album, “So What”. While touring with singer Stevie Nicks in 1984, Walsh took Nicks to the park’s fountain. Nicks then immortalized the experience in her song, “Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You”, on her 1985 album Rock A Little.

What a pretty park. It was a delight to sit on a rock and enjoy the sunshine while we signed the log.

#41989 Found while out grabbing a few caches around Boulder this morning before heading to the airport to fly home. Really enjoyed visiting Colorado for the Thanksgiving holiday. I was in the midst of working on the multi-stage virtual in the park when I stopped to find this. Very nice hide, and a funny container that definitely fit the hint. haha TFTC

Tftc!! Was fun

The actual container was an interesting twist (literally) on others like it. Would be interested to know where to get them.

Being a Saturday, muggles were everywhere, but we managed to get in and out without attracting much notice.

A fun container. We were worried there was someone close by as we looked. Not a problem.

I planned to go to Pearl Street at lunch time to get the answers for one of the Earth caches and was surprised to see a cache not too far away. Hmmm... well, it is a nice day for a walk. So I headed on over this way. I have to admit it was a little farther than I thought, but I needed the exercise. I got to GZ and realized I may be more germ phobic than I thought. Got over it pretty quickly and found the cache. Thanks for the walk and the {*FTF*} at 12:57! Enjoyed the walk back, too, and only took 10 minutes more than my lunch hour. Find #2846.
