Here we are at the real thing! 1/19/2007
In the car park! 1/19/2007

As we have explored the trails in this area we found this interesting spot and thought it deserved a cache. The container is a little white soap dish.
Throughout the years man has attempted to erect monuments to pay homage to some greater being or to leave a lasting mark for later generations. Whatever the case may be, these great structures leave us all pondering, who did this and why?

Knowing that ancient buildings need a good foundation, one could assume that these have been built from the bottom up. Having been constructed with such simple means these monoliths could be easily re-built by later civilizations using nothing more than bare hands in some cases.

We will all leave this place with different explanations in our minds but having the satisfaction that we were able to slip back to the past and for a brief moment… find the cache.

Found it after about 30 minutes of wondering around, but eventually landed on it about 100 feet away from ground zero. Unfortunately, it is in desperate need of some maintenance. The latch that keeps it closed is broken, and there were no logs on the inside. On the plus side, it was a great place to find some fossils.

Oh this was a fun one. And no you do not need to take apart anything like we were worried about. Fyi ziplock need to be replaced if some one is in the area. Tfth

I stopped here on my way to the Australia Day Event in Pueblo. I looked for 20-30 minutes and came up empty. I couldn't really figure the hint out. I'll see if I can get a nudge from someone and come back and try again.

Nice area to hike and cache in! We saw a rattler, but he was pretty lethargic as it was chili still this morning. Love these cool caches! T4TC!

Hello, my buddies! Thank you for the cache. I saw a lizard, lots of birds, and I almost stepped on a rattlesnake. Fortunately, I'd already found the cache so I turned right back to my car to go home and change my shorts. Stay safe!

My geo-senses are telling me that it's been muggled again. Last find was in April right now.
