My dad and I decided to come out to Carnage Canyon today to get some of the caches up here. We took the hard way up the side of the mountain to the roads, but once we got on a real trail it was much easier. SL. TFTC!

Seems that lately this cache is found by accident just as often as on purpose. The accidental finders followed the instructions in the front of the log book quite literally and wrote their full home address in the log book. Hah, no thanks!

I was very appreciative to find a little pencil inside the cache. I had been dropping quarters in the micros I found along the way to prove my visit, but I was fresh out. I borrowed the pencil for the rest of my hike up the hill, then returned it on my way back. Thanks for the loan.

Nice site in good shape! Lefthand is back open to non-motorized use after the floods. Thanks!

We accidentally entered this one as "found" while receiving a weak cell signal near the cache area and confusing it with another cave find that we had just made that is nearby. Sorry for the confusion. We'll hope to get back to this pretty area another time to bag this one.
